| Construction of a tunnel 24 km. long through the Andes mountains to the west central region of Venezuela. When completed, the tunnel would move water from the Yacambu River basin to the Quibor Valley and the city of Barquisimeto. This project was overseen by the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Resources, Venezuela. |

| Rail-mounted 'unit trains' - transport proportioning cars coupled to the lead 'mixer' car. |

Twin compartments within the hopper cars separated aggregates from blended Portland cement, silica fume and accelerator. Unit trains transported materials from the portal to location within the tunnel.

| Gates opened to allow for transfer of aggregates and cement to the mixer car. |

| The aggregates and cement materials were 'predampened' in the long auger prior to mixing. Aliva 263 electric/hydraulic shotcrete machines were mounted on the forward section of the car. |
